Walking home while listening to Cat Stevens. Is there way to reflect?

The Hunger Games

My lovely sister Megan rounded up some VIP tickets to see Hunger Games at 9:30 the night before it opened. Isn't she the best?

Too bad I will never be able to go back after having had the VIP experience - with badges and junior mints included.

The movie was so well done. I absolutely LOVED it. Naturally it had some violence in it (I seem to have glossed over all that when I imagined it in my head), but it was a great film representation of the book. It was over two hours, but it went be way fast.

Don't forget to read the book before you see it!

Flat Tire

So I finally learned how to change a flat tire.

It's not necessarily as fun as it looked in the movie "On the way home."

Pi(e) Day!

To celebrate the wonderful day of 3.14, I made a macaroni and cheese pie. It turned out to be the best thing ever.

I made the crust from crushed white cheddar cheese-its mixed with some butter:

I then filled that crust with Kraft mac n' cheese:

I covered that with cheese and baked it in the oven for a few minutes so the cheese would melt on top:

Kami and I threw a pi day party and had a great selection of pies to celebrate the day properly.

And we had live music by none other than Tim Davis himself.

World's Smallest Vaseline

Great news: I found the tiniest container of vaseline!

Finally, the perfect size to carry in your purse.

Can I really define my childhood with a photo?

It would be hard, because it appears I am still in it.

Goodbye Cambrie, Hello Justin

In order to always remember our friendship, Mark, Kami, Cambrie, and I got temporary tattoos - Justin Bieber themed.

Hopefully our friendship actually lasts longer than the tattoos.

Human or Robot?

In my Spanish Literature class we have spent the last couple of classes discussing what it is that creates identity and sets human beings apart. We came to the conclusion that memories make up an identity and a spirit and body seem to be what set humans apart.

I just had to laugh when I saw this after our discussion:
I passed. I was worried for a minute, but it turns out that I am not a robot. I guess that being able to read and spell back curvy words is actually what defines a human being as not being a robot. It may be what defines my identity as well. Who knows?
