Quiero Taco Bell

Since coming to Spain one thing that I have missed a lot is Mexican food, especially in the form of Taco Bell. Lucky for me and everyone else who shared this same need for crunchy tacos, at the beginning of this year the first Taco Bell in Spain was opened in Madrid.

Last week Tim, Mark, Kiley, Lara, and I tried to go find it, but unfortunately were led awry by Tim's faulty directions. We rode the metro all the way to the 10 only to find nothing. Today we decided to try again, this time taking the metro to the end of the 11. We got there and walked a ways to the huge mall that was there, where we saw that beautiful pink bell sign and about cried out of pure joy. I had a burrito supreme and a crunchy taco (just one because we still had to eat dinner afterward). They were quite delicious, though the taco shell did taste different.

After eating we explored the mall for a short while and then started on the long journey home. We left our houses for this excursion at about 6:30 and didn't get home until 12:30. If you're asking yourself if it was worth it, the answer is a definite yes.
