I had my last classes at the private school I teach at, affectionately known as "private 3" to distinguish it from the other two private schools our program teaches at, on Monday and Wednesday evening.
Monday night we made angry birds, just like in Basic Reading. Obviously Pita was a fan of this activity as he was sporting his angry bird t-shirt that day.
The buttons made the heads kind of heavy, so the kids liked to hold them upside down so you can see them better.
We've had so few kids coming the past few weeks that we have been combining the two classes into one, which makes it really easy to get pictures while we are teaching. In Jessica's class we played cat and mouse. Here is Alina as the cat:
Pita and Anya are two of my favorite kids because they are so hilarious. They are always making great faces during class.
More cat and mouse:
In her second class we played with a "parachute" that was actually a sheet, but it worked pretty much the same way. Pita didn't want to be in the parachute with all the girls though.
The kids took turns sitting under the parachute while everyone else shook it up and down. Alina loved it.
So did Sonya.
Our last class was on Wednesday night and we had a performance that the parents came to watch. Pita was looking super spiffy in his pirate suspenders.
We did a run through before class so that we would be ready for the parents.
Oh Pita.

The performance went super well. Each of the kids said a line and then we sang their favorite song. Here is Anya holding a giant sun:
Singing "Mr. Sun."
Dima holding a happy face:
Pita holding a giant rain cloud.
Singing "raindrops."
We took some photos with the kids after class was over. Me, Samantha, Dosha, Alina, and Jessica:
